Digitization enables us to make processes more efficient and effective. From cashless payments and payment applications to self-driving cars, technology has our everyday lives firmly in its hands. Many tasks are being taken away from humans so that we can concentrate on the essentials. However, digitization and transformation also have downsides. Technical systems are increasingly becoming the target of criminal activities in the near past – be it emptying Bitcoin wallets or hacking computers. With the increased digitization of life, the demand for security technology to protect systems is also growing. The brief analysis shows that the topic of cyber security will become very relevant in the future. This keynote speech and panel discussion will give you insights into the modern security technology landscape. More precisely, technical as well as economic considerations around the topic of cyber security will be presented and you will have the chance to ask questions directly to the experts during a Q&A. The evening will be concluded with an informal aperitif where you can connect and chat with experts and other ETHSG members.
