The first beer was on us!

Are you interested in getting to know ETHSG but weren‘t sure about the right occasion?

That changed right now. Get to know the board and fellows at our social event on Friday the 19th of November at the 01 Bar in Zurich starting at 20:00. Grab a beer or any other beverage and get into a casual conversation with whomever you find interesting.

To get into the bar you will be obliged to show a Covid-Certificate.

We held our panel discussion on interdisciplinary collaboration with Cherez Tschopp from @microsoftch and Martin Lanter from @youtube. We wanted to thank them again for a great discussion and interesting insights into their work (environment).

A quote that stayed in our minds from Cherez was: „You need to have soft and hard skills. Sometimes the soft skills are the harder ones to learn.” We remembered it mostly because the fact that in a techy environment soft skills are crucial seemed really fascinating.

We were happy to see so many people attend the discussion and show their interest. We are looking forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events!

We started into this new semester with our kickoff event in St. Gallen! Many new faces showed up and our board members were able to explain our club’s vision and our ideas to motivated students from diverse fields of study. We are looking forward seeing all of you at future events! This is just the beginning.

A big shoutout to the sponsors of this event! Thank you @planetmoonspring , @barebellsswitzerland , and @vivikola for equipping our fellow students with tasty drinks and delicious protein bars!

See you soon and always remember; Collaborate to Innovate!

This year’s edition of the renowned HackZurich took place in a hybrid form (on-site and virtually) from 24th to 26th of September 2021. Our team created a new way to make shopping at Migros more sustainable and fun using gamification.

Weiter Infos folgen bald!

Congratulations to the ETHSG team “Apollo Insights” which reached second place in the national finals of the KPMG Ideation Challenge 2021

During three days of intense brainstorming and research, “Apollo Insights” elaborated a plan to use machine leraning and big data in order to help fight COVID-19! Great thanks goes to the team’s mentor, Marc-Antoine Künzi, for coaching our members through the challenge!

With roughly 30 people showing up, the kick-off event was a great success. For the first time students of both the HSG and the ETH have met in person and had the opportunity to get to know each other. This marks the official birth of the ETHSG. Great thanks to Puerto Mate for the delicious drinks provided for the event!
